Ross Cairns Performance Coaching Run Club and supported by
Train with purpose. Run with people who care about progression.
The Ross Cairns Performance Coaching Run Club is more than just a weekly group run. It’s a collaboration between Ross Cairns Performance Coaching and Inverness Harriers and supported by New Balance. It’s a non-metric led community built for runners who want to train smarter, stay consistent, and unlock their potential but are a wee bit nervous of running in a group or join a running club.
Its totally free to help those taking a step forward in 2026. From that next step in your performance journey or its that first set outside the front door. This is for YOU!
This is where structured coaching principles meet a supportive, motivating environment. Train alongside like-minded runners who value consistency, accountability, and progression. The Run Club attracts athletes who want to improve, support one another, and enjoy the process without ego or pressure.
This environment often becomes the catalyst for runners ready to step into more structured coaching.
Why Join the Run Club?
Most runners don’t struggle with motivation; they struggle with direction.
Our Run Club bridges the gap between casual group runs and fully personalised coaching and club athletics. You’ll train with intent, learn why you’re doing each session, and gain access to expert insight that helps you progress safely and sustainably.
It’s not about running harder. It’s about running better.
What You’ll Experience
Structured, purposeful sessions, thoughtfully designed and delivered using the same performance principles applied within our coaching programmes. Sessions typically focus on:
- Getting outside and enjoy the community style runs
- Aerobic development
- Speed & efficiency
- Threshold and race-specific work
- Running mechanics and economy
- At points throughout the year Pop Up Come and Try New Balance Products.
Sessions are scalable, meaning runners of different abilities can train together while still getting the right stimulus.
